Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah, Director-General of the Commission for TVET, conveyed a goodwill message to all TVET pre-tertiary candidates, expressing his warm regards as they undergo their final assessments. He emphasized the importance of these examinations as a pivotal step in their careers and wished them success in their endeavors.
Enhanced Examination Security
CTVET has implemented a rigorous test serialisation system, initially introduced during the 2023 May/June Certificate II Examinations and continued this year. This system aims to improve assessment integrity by minimizing cheating and question leakage. Under serialisation, candidates in the same examination hall receive similar questions with different question numbers.
Grading System
Starting from the 2023 examinations, CTVET revised its grading system to align with international standards, ensuring parity with bodies like the West African Examinations Council (WAEC). The new system awards grades as follows:
- A1: 75 – 100 marks
- B2: 70 – 74 marks
- B3: 65 – 69 marks
- C4: 60 – 64 marks

- C6: 50 – 54 marks
- D7: 45 – 49 marks
